Your tasks

Linköping Municipality is looking for an engaged support pedagog who wants to contribute to developing and ensuring a good quality of life for the municipality's residents. The position is located at the unit Fogdegatan 53.

As a support pedagog, you work closely with the residents and support them in managing their daily lives based on individual needs. You create structure, motivate, and strengthen the ability to live as independently as possible. The work is based on a pedagogical approach and IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus). You formulate goals together with the resident, establish and follow up on implementation plans, and document in the organization's system.

The role includes an extended quality and development responsibility. This means that you:

• Guide colleagues in pedagogical methods and approaches.
• Follow up on the quality of documentation and ensure that routines are followed.
• Participate in the organization's quality work and development areas.
• Drive and follow up on development issues during meetings and supervision.
• Introduce new employees.

You also contribute to collecting feedback from residents and suggesting improvements that enhance the quality of the organization. You will be part of a network group with other support pedagogs.

Your workplace

Fogdegatan 53 is a 24/7 operation with 16 apartments for people with mental health issues, addiction, and neuropsychiatric disabilities. The staff group includes housing support workers, a support pedagog, a team leader, and access to a nurse. Working hours include days, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who is a trained support pedagog or has a relevant YH or university degree. Experience in social psychiatry is a requirement. Knowledge of MI, ESL, low-arousal approach, and pedagogical methods is desirable.

You need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, for documentation and client meetings, and be familiar with computers for documentation. Experience with documentation in Treserva and working based on IBIC is an advantage. A B driver's license is required.
